The Delaware C.H.A.N.C.E. Foundation is a social program that is bringing awareness to the struggles of the children in our community. We at C.H.A.N.C.E use several forms of activity to help develop our children to become the leaders of the future. Our foundation focuses on six key points to help shape these young minds. The Delaware C.H.A.N.C.E. Foundation has been around for 11 years helping thousand of children in the Tri-state and DMV area.

C haracter is defined as “the combination of emotional, intellectual, and moral qualities that distinguishes an individual.” At C.H.A.N.C.E we offer a safe place where children come to develop their character so they can become a positive influence in our society.
H onor C.H.A.N.C.E will help young minds learn what it means to honor parents, teachers, coaches, elders, and their friends. In a society that struggles with a barrage of negative media on a daily basis, we also strive to show these children that they must also treat themselves with honor.
A ttitude is a vital quality in every person. Our foundation helps children to develop a positive attitude about life. We emphasize the importance of communication and listening skills to help improve the outlook on any situation. With these tools, children can learn how to change a negative attitude into and winning attitude.
N urturing children is a key component in our mission. We understand that all children are different that they all have strengths and qualities that make them unique and wonderful. C.H.A.N.C.E helps them to realize their potential and nurtures them through that journey.
C aring for the children in our community is critical. We want them to know they are in an environment that cares, a place they can come to feel safe, unique, valued, and believed in and that is what this foundation gives them.
E ducation is so critical to the future of our children. At C.H.A.N.C.E they will have access to people who can help them get assistance with school, guidance with educational decisions and the tools they need to form a strong academic foundation.
